FWIW, I just posted a rather lengthy message on all the steps needed to compile PHP4 from the source on a Qube2. It should be on the Cobalt-Developers list by the time you read this. Search the archives (http://list.cobalt.com/mailman/listinfo/cobalt-developers/) for: "FAQ: installing PHP4 on a Qube2". It might take 24 hours for the search engine to show results (I don't know how the search engine is set up).
