[cobalt-users] Special characters on filenames

I've been working very well with Qubes on Mac-only and Windows-only
environments.
Now I'm setting up a new unit for a mixed Macintosh/Windows office,
and this is when things go bad.
If I give a name to any file containing special characters, like
accents in French or Portuguese, from the Macintosh, the file shows
with garbled name or even becomes unusable on Windows, and
vice-versa. For example, I can't have a file or folder called
"Protegé".
Since we work with lots of accents on filenames, this renders the
Qube2 unusable.
Does anyone knows a workaround?
Thanks in advance,
Claudio Terra
