The conf files are stored at usr/local/majordomo/lists

I have had lots of success modifying the files, and some pains as well. You
must be carefull though, as I have caused some infinate e-mail loops as
well. I recommend testing all changes using a dummy list with one real
desination address, and one that will be rejected.

Try and change $lists to something else.
