Check out www.raqresources.com and see DNS. I suggest you register a domain
such as companydns.com and use your provider's dns. Then setup your own
using the intructions at the link above, using ns.companydns.com,
ns2.companydns.com, etc. Then you will be able to register all future
domains using ns.companydns.com, ns2.companydns.com and you can add new
domains via the raq interface (instructed at above link) yourself. Then I
would go back to the registrar and change the dns for the domain
companydns.com to ns.companydns.com, ns2.companydns.com - that way if
someone does a whois on your dns information they won't see your provider's
dns.
I'm just now getting ready to get my RaQ online so I hope everything goes
smooth, like I explained, cause I haven't done it yet myself. But I have
done it on my Unix servers and it works great!
Thanks,
Brandon Keim
