[cobalt-users] Frontpage prolems if you rename site

I was just bitten by something (due to, I think, lack of knowledge on my
part on Frontpage extensions).
I set up a domain name.iluvoz.net so that a customer could get a site ready
(he was moving from another hosting company). Customer updated site - was
happy with it. Then I renamed site to name.com and we redelegated the domain
to my server. After a couple of days the name.com resolved to my machine
successfully and name.com displayed in its full glory.
However, when the customer went to edit the site it wouldn't let them. It
gave 302 page not found contact server to make sure frontpage extensions
are installed errors. On checking there are a number of places where the
name.iluvoz.net name is stored in the Frontpage vti files.
Also - I was not able to make changes to the user info on the site - it said
"A root web must first be enabled in the Site Settings menu"
So I tried to be clever (to give the customer 0 down time) and ended up with
an issue.
I will delete the site and the customer will re publish it.
What could I have done to avoid these issues and still give the customer a
seamless cutover using Frontpage ?
cheers
