Thanks for the info. I'm still not comfortable enough as an administrator to run the DNS off my machine, one step at a time y'know. However I did go to centralinfo and am taking advantage of their free DNS service which seems to suit my needs just fine.

The great thing is - it doesent cost anything at all..
