[cobalt-users] failed backups

I had a backup scheduled to run once a week and it kept failing to put the
backup file on a ftp location.  If the backup fails to move the file, will
the file remain somewhere on the system?  I'm asking because I just check my
disk free space and my root "/" is at 76% capacity.
