The point is, this is not the place for a SIMPLE beginner question. The simple beginner questions are answered in
the manual, the archives, BOOKS, other web sites. By asking simple beginner questions, lots of very knowledgable
and experienced people have left....
Inexperience is not an excuse for asking questions that should be answered by reading a good reference, be it a
web page or a BOOK. That seems to be the trouble of the new people on the list. They want to have their hand
held and the answer spoonfed to them, rather than finding a good reference and utilizing it. How many of you
alleged web hosts/developers have ever purchased a good reference book for the tools you are going to use?
In a Kris D. analogy, it's like trying to make modifications to your hot rod car by blindly changing parts and
when it doesn't work, calling the local mechanic...
I have enough of this list, there is an attitude amongst serious developers/hosters to utilize references, RTFM,
etc., and that is a good thing. To say that it is acceptable for someone to ask a simple DNS implementation
question for the 853rd time is RIDICULOUS...Good bye,
Joe
