Have you double-checked the network settings on your local machine? Can you ping the Qube2? Can you telnet to the Qube2 (assuming you set the permissions to allow this)? Can you ping or telnet outside your network?
When I first set up my Qube2 I had similar problems because I had misconfigured my DHCP settings. What do yours look like?
