I don't believe so.  In fact, to configure my Qube2, connected the 
secondary interface to my hub and connected my computer to the primary 
interface using a crossover cable.  Once everything was set up and working, 
I moved the Qube2 so that it was between my DSL line and my network.  No 
problems.
