[cobalt-users] Qube overwrites httpd.conf

Earlier i had questions about my qube2 and Virtual Hosting, but upon closer
inspection, I have observed that the Qube is rewriting the httpd.conf file
to the "original version with out my modifications every time I restart the
server.

I maybe doing this wrong, but here are the steps that I take:
log on as root
vi httpd.conf  and add my VirtualHost directives
:wq httpd.conf
cat httpd.conf to see if my corrections are there ( they are )
killall -HUP httpd
logout

Then, when I log back in, and cat httpd.conf, it no longer contains my
additions, but is back to its original form.
I must be giving it the wrong directions somewhere, but my newbieness is not
allowing me to see it.

Any suggestions?
