You do an nslookup on sitemail.everyone.net. If it's an A record you
just do an MX pointing mail for siteurl.everyone.net pointing to
"sitemail.everyone.net".

If the record for sitemail.everyone.net is a CNAME record, then you do
an MX pointing mail for siteurl.everyone.net pointing to whatever the
CNAME record for sitemail.everyone.net points to.

It doesn't matter at all what kind of record siteurl.everyone.net has.
