My original Qube2 never achieved ten straight days of uptime in the six
months I had it.  The box stopped booting soon after installing Cobalt's OS
3.0 upgrade package.  Ironically, it bit the bucket while testing it for
Cobalt's support crew.  I paid $149+33 to replace it with a refurb Qube2,
only to finally discover bugs in both Samba and in the OS 3.0 upgrade
package.  The refurb box crashed on Cobalt during one of their own Telnet
sessions.  I regret to say Samba remains unstable on this box.  Qube2
stability problems manifest themselves most aggressively during a restore
attempt in my experience; it took me almost three weeks and a kludge
workaround to restore critical business files.  I therefore must strongly
recommend non-Cobalt backup procedures if you store critical business files
on a Qube2 -- especially if you installed the OS 3.0 upgrade package.
