[cobalt-users] kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device error

I've found in my message files the following kernel error message:

Aug 28 22:37:00 toon kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Aug 28 22:37:00 toon kernel: 03:03: rw=0, want=776020017, limit=205128

These error happen each minute ( exactly at :00 ).
Anyway they don't look like they can be neglected, although the
server still runs without problems, I found an unanswered question
on this cobalt list with the same problem, but alas no solution.

Is anyone familiar with this problem and knows a solution?
We're preparing a backup raq so downtime can be minimal,
just in case.
