RE: [cobalt-users] Qube2 - DHCP Cable Modem

I think Cobalt sets up the Qube so *all* DHCP functionality
is on the Primary.

This is contrary to the setup instructions for the box. The
thing is, Cobalt assumes that if you're using the second
Ethernet port then you have a fixed address for it. Under that
scenario, everything works like a charm. That's also how my
office is setup, and the Qube is handling 80 people that way
without batting an eye.

There is no technical reason why it *shouldn't* work. However,
out of the box there is no DHCP functionality configured for
the Secondary port. You'd have to do that yourself.

Are you using DHCP to configure your clients?

Hey! I'm now shopping for a ISDN modem or router to hook up
to the Qube. What are you using?
