RE: [cobalt-users] Flushing a mailbox
Yes, sendmail will automatically recreate the box that was deleted as soon
as a new message comes in.

Subject: [cobalt-users] Flushing a mailbox
I hope this is not a dumb question: What is the best way to delete all mail
in a mailbox without using a mail client and deleting each mail one at a
time? If the mailbox is deleted from /var/spool/mail will it be re-created
when the next email is sent?
I have a guy that is subscribed to two mailing lists and has over 800
messages in his mailbox. I want to be able to clean it out quickly without
deleting the user account and starting over.
Suggestions?...
Scott
