Hate to give you half an answer, but...

You're on the right track looking that those scripts. Also look at the
scripts referenced within those scripts. And, don't just look at the
scripts: look also at the documentation for those commands. "man" is
your friend...

At one point I found such a thing; I no longer remember where it is.
