[cobalt-users] RAQ2: POP-User Problem



We just went into a problem we never had
before. One of our customers created a user
within a virtual site. For some reason he
renamed the users full name and changed
the email alias. The username (pilleman)
of course did not change. Everything worked
without any problem no errors at all.

But this user (pilleman) cannot get into
his pop account anymore. Mails are delivered
correctly into the pop account (we can
see the emails e.g by reading the file
/var/spool/mail/pilleman with pico) and
the owner and group of the mailboxfile is
ok.

We have deleted all .lock files in
/var/spool/mail without effort. We
then deleted the user completly, rebooted
the server and created the user again.
Same error again. 

If we create a new user on this virtual
site with a different name everything
works well for the new user.

The server is a Raq2+ 64MB, OS Release 3,
Pop-before-smtp-1.2.

Any ideas how to fix the problem?
