Hi,
Im having a strange problem with executing sendmail from a Perl script.
We do shopping cart software, etc and install software on a daily basis for
Linux/Redhat OS, etc but we recently
purchased a Raq3.
When executing a Perl script that uses sendmail on our new raq, we got
errors via the web, so when we tried via telnet, we get the following errors
just after the content header:
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx User unknown
/home/sites/home/users/admin/dead.letter... Saved message in
/home/sites/home/users/admin/dead.letter
The script performs normally in every other regard, and performs normally on
any other server, except the new RaQ.
Of course, 'support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' can be any foreign email address
outside of the RaQ .. we get the same error. It seems like a relay problem,
but I have never had a problem before will the scripts we install on a daily
basis. Im assuming this is a small configuration setting that is not in
place when you get a RaQ "out of the box".
I have checked and the IP address and domains are all in place for allowed
to relay domains. Also, email is operating normally to and from all domains
on the box. Just the Perl scripts executing sendmail is the problem.
PLEASE HELP!
Thanks in advance...
