While Cobalt includes Interbase as a "toss-in", Cobalt doesn't provide
support or a control panel for it. You'll have to go to the Interbase
newsgroups and websites for information.
The Cobalt GUI is run on top of a Postgres database, so if you are looking
to do anything with the Cobalt GUI you'll need to work with that, not
Interbase.
Note ... from my own experience the Interbase 6.0 database for Linux is
still missing features from the other versions of Interbase. For instance,
there is a Win32 based control application that will not communicate with
Interbase. Most likely you will be limited to command-line programs for
manipulating the Interbase software.
