Re: [cobalt-users] logs & stats problems

I found the same problem and had to increase the size of the log
configuration files. My friend, Florian Effenberger, a regualr
contributor to this group gave me the info I needed to get it going
correctly. There are two files that need to be modified for each site
that needs larger logs. One is in the etc/logrotate.d directory called
Sitex (replace the x with the virtual site you are working with) and the
other is in the etc/logrotate.onboot directory also called Sitex. You
have to be logged in as a superuser to modify these files. Before
editing the files make a backup of the files BUT don't add the suffix
.bak (for some reason the RaQ thinks this is a valid file and baulks
over it) copy it to Sitex~.

A good program that works for the stats and is about $200 U.S. is
Webtrends Analyzer gives me 'tons' of valuable info.

I hope this helps,

Martin ;)
