Are you doing your whois properly? The first lookup tells you the name of
the whois server to query. Then you need to specifically ask that whois
server for all the contact information. I'm not having any problems with
whois. My lookup of cobalt.com shows all the contacts.

try whois -h whois.networksolutions.com <domain name>

If you don't like doing all that typing try setting up an alias in your
.profile so that you can do lookups to networksolutions faster.
