I wish there was a sound I could configure for Outlook2000 to make when it
can't POP3 instead of just when mail is received. ;-) I was lucky that
within 5 minutes of the failure I had my host on the phone and we rebooted
and deleted the .lock files.

I'll be on the phone with my co-locate ISP tomorrow AM regarding giving
Qpopper 2.53 a try. Hopping to hear *something* from Cobalt about it.

One strange thing I noticed when this happened, although I don't know if it
relates, one of my customers had more than 3MB of mail. I didn't have time
to see if it was one message. It shouldn't have been since I have the
default set to 2MB max on the server.
