By now, switches are cheap enough that it makes no sense to
use a hub anywhere, really. I've recently bought HP ProCurve
2224 switches (24-port, rackmount) for about $500, and also
Linksys EtherFast 8-port desktop switches for about $100.
I don't even have hubs at home anymore.
As far as your specific case, I can only say that, in my
recent purchases, the two cheapest brands among those I
already know and trust were HP and Linksys. Check around.
