I would *really* not do that. Actually I would rather lose some clients
before setting up more than 230 virtual sites on a RaQ (don't know for the
RaQ4, but I assume it has the same problems). It starts going wild and
crazy, and doing really strange things..... (read my message about that in
the archives).

Up to 230 sites - fine.
But somewhere between 230 and 240, bummer, and you have a few sleepless
nights.

Yes, it is more a marketing joke or whater you can call it. We have all
machines with 128mb and 140mb RAM here, and they really don't work fine
anymore if you have more than 100 websites. The control panel (for the
clients) gets so slow you constantly get complaints, it does forget the
email aliases from time to time, stops running the FTP daemon so you have to
restart it all the time, etc. etc.

I would say, whatever configuration you have, not to put more than 100 sites
on one machine.

If I would really stick to my own limit, I would have more time for playing
computer games than for fixing RaQ servers :(
