Less than 10% of all RaQ purchasers ask questions on this list.

Most likely because you didn't upload them as site-admin or as admin,
using FTP. And remember to set their permissions.
It IS possible to use a combination of telnet AND the gui interface. It
just requires a bit of attention to detail.
You can certainly disable the cgi wrapper. Don't. it's a great piece
of security.

As someone else pointed out, not true. If it really says this, then
it's wrong, and we can get it fixed by pointing it out to the right
people. Exactly what does it really say? And where?

Because you can have multiple host-based sites on your RaQ, but only one
of them can be authoritative for the domain without a host-name. Not
your fault, I supposed, since most of us have never really understand
what that "www" stands for anyway, but not Cobalt's, either; they do
understand.
Just takes a bit of reading all the fine information out on the Internet
(which is very different than the "web") and being willing to learn.

If you really don't like the "stuff" that Cobalt's added, and you really
like the hardware enough to keep it, then you can remove all the cobalt
"sauce" and run the box as a straight linux box; if you want to do that,
ask questions on 'cobalt-developers'; some of there have done it and can
give you some pointers.
