The folks in Holland do tend to have excellent control of the English
language. I am always impressed by people who English wasn't their first
language (perhaps obviously) yet they are amble to communicate at a very
high level.

Yet at the same time I agree with Dom that a concerted effort must be made
to follow the standards that we are accustomed to and are necessary for
effective communication. If you speak English you certainly don't have any
excuse for poor grammar, spelling, etc. And it makes the transmission of
ideas difficult at best. So I think a good natured jab every once in a
while is healthy. Besides, I think that not sugar coating things is the
honest way to deal with stuff. Flames and heated discussions are helpful,
not hindering to a mailing list (within reason).
Its all good!
