Could we be approaching a consensus here?!?

I used to work for a company that made Ethernet cards for a niche market.
We were one of the first manufacturers in the world to use Flash memory 
to store code (rhe driver was on-board).  They weren't the cheapest cards
on the market - at least not up until the first time you wanted to do a 
software upgrade.
