I doubt if any of the Cobalt PHBs do lurk here. Perhaps one of the Colberts
could print this out in extra large type and stick it up where it might get
noticed by the appropriate PHB.
THE PRICING POLICY ON THE RESTORE CD SUCKETH COPIOUSLY AND IS COSTING YOU
FAR MORE IN LOST GOOD-WILL THAN YOUR MEASLY 99 BUCKS PER CD SOLD.
However you want to dress it up as "a service", your customers feel, rightly
or wrongly, that they are being asked to pay for something they've already
bought - the base software installation.
The customer is always right, remember? Which means that you are wrong.
(While we're at it, could you please stop telling the world that you
only need a room-temperature IQ to do internet type stuff?)
What is the licensing on this CD anyway? If you're not allowed to make
copies, why not?
