look in /proc/cpuinfo, and parse the line containing the cpu temp. i
used a little shell script with grep, as a cronjob. then i had the line
mailed to an email account with cell phone alert (the subject line is
displayed on the phone, as sms).

i don`t know if the mips raqs have a cpu temp sensor, it may work only
on a raq3 (btw: every better mainboard has this sensor, nothing cobalt
specific)
