Well I have been looking and I still am not sure what to do.  Normally I
would go over to myisp and restart in single user mode and run fsck.  but
now mybox is a raq2 and it's in new york.  I can't take it out of multiuser
mode and I'm not sure if I should use fsck or e2fsck.  just never did this
and I can't aford a mistake.

Still searching for an answer and/or debate on this problem.
