RE: [cobalt-users] When...? ;-))

They both were OFFICIAL. If you read the last relaease in its entirety:

"These packages will safely install over the previous experimental
release." dated 7-25-00

Also, just because it "destoys" someone's Raq does not mean it is not the
correct update. If you follow the list on a day to day basis, about 80% of
the people on here have modified the code on their Raq and the patches from
Cobalt could interfer with their changes and cause them problems.

POP-BEFORE-SMTP version 1.2-4 was released on 7-27-00 and version 1.2-3 was
retired, "1.2-3 will no longer be available for download from the ftp
site."

And, it you have been dealing with Cobalt for any length of time you will
find that this is as OFFICIAL as it gets.

But, it you would like further confirmation I would suggest you contact Jeff
Lovell offlist at jlovell@xxxxxxxxxx since he released both patches.

Thanks.

Yes, but they are only EXPERIMENTAL as far as I know. Another person
reported that they nearly destroyed his RaQ2.

My question: when will all those patches be available *OFFICIALLY*?

Thanks,
Florian
