I don't.

The RaQ3 runs a modified version of Redhat 6.1. I honestly don't know the
answer to yuor questions, but I thought I'd point that out in case you weren't
aware of it. The RaQ2 runs a modified version of Redhat 5.2.

Have you searched the list archives? I know both the topics of Oracle and
Xwindows have come up before, but I don't recall the outcome. If you haven't
already, search the archives at the list URL at the bottom of every email on
this list. You might want to contact those people whom were trying to do the
same off-list.

A lot of consultants (me included) would recommend that if you need Oracle, you
put it on a more appropriate platform - one with RAID, hot-swappable drives,
more expandability, faster processor, more RAM, etc. If your client's budget
allows for an Oracle license, the client should be able to avoid running a
high-end (and high-cost) DBMS like Oracle on a server appliance.
