The RaQ3 uses 115200 for the serial console port during boot. After
getting everything setup here to talk to our racks of RaQ1s, RaQ2s, and
RaQ3s, here is what I have found:
RaQ1: all serial stuff is at 9600, no flow control required
RaQ2: firmware loader is at 115200, serial console is 9600, carrier
detect must be high to login
RaQ3: all serial stuff is at 115200, CD must be high to login
I ended up hacking a connector to have CD tied to RTS, so anytime the
serial port is ready, CD will be high. This isn't the best solution,
but it works.
