this is how I set up http://pets.mobilerecords.com

Create a new virtual with:
IP=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
Host Name= pets
Domain= mobilerecords.com

*DO NOT CHECK  THE BOXES LABELED:
ACCEPT EMAIL FOR DOMAIN
WEB ACCESS FOR DOMAIN

Set up a DNS  A record for:
subdomain.domain.com to your IP
Remember to click "save changes to DNS Server"
Your subdomain may not start working right away.  Allow some time for
updates
Search the archives for this info as well.
