RE: [cobalt-users] root password??



Our internal network has a firewall set up for security reasons and remotely
we use VPN to connect to out equipment which has 128 bit encryption. Thanks.

Of course, as has been discussed over and over, using telnet is VERY
insecure (passwords
in plain-text). Install and use SSH. Instructions in the KB work (except a
path for
getting SSH to start automatically are hosed, change the path (do a whereis,
I don't
remember off the top of my head)).
