[cobalt-users] Limit number of connections per site

Anyone know if there is a way in apache to limit the number of simultaneous
connections a virtual host can have?

We have some sites getting bombarded with connections and it's making the
whole box suffer. We have a RAQ2 with 256MB of RAM, it's serving nowhere
near 10 million hits per day like Cobalt claims it will do, and it's
crawling while serving pages and in telnet and such. There's not really
anything else running except apache, sendmail, and the normal stuff.
