[cobalt-users] IP dns problem

Hi All
I have a problem, the dns ip address i am using already has a nic
handle from the previous ip owner. I do not know what this handle was
so i cannot point any COM websites at my dns servers ip address when
i register a new com. Any ideas how i can get arounfd this. I tried
the modify forms with network solutions but they need the handle. I
tried to ring network solutions from the uk but could not get
through. 
Could i run 2 dns server on my raq 3 one using another ip address
which does not already have a handle ? Is this advisable or possible
?
