[cobalt-users] Webalizer .pkg for the Raq3

I've been passivly been watching this list for a while and couldn't
conclude anything else but the fact that Cobalt really missed to fill one
big gap when it comes to webstats. Dns Telecom provided a nice package for
all the mips based boxen out there, but an x86 version never saw the
daylight. And telling from the list, a lot of people were having
trouble getting webalizer installed from source. I was asked by a small
webdesign company (who happened to be using a raq3 too) if i could get
webalizer going on their Raq. This wasn't much of a problem, but recently
the company i work for bought a Raq too and also wanted shiny
colourfull stats. Not wanting to do the whole thing by hand again, i
tried to make a .pkg from it so it would be alot easier to install. And
out of the blue, there's this webalizer from cobalt too?
Well, i'm sticking with my own verions since it works. The only major
difference between the packages is that mine is based on webalizer 2.00.x
and gd 1.8 (png) while Cobalt's package is based on webalizer 1.30 and gd
1.3 (gif). If you like bleeding edge software, you can give my package a
shot but be aware that it might not work for the full 100% (after all,
it's based on a dev. version of webalizer). I still plan on further
development of this package even though there's a 'real' cobalt package,
since i'm learning a great deal about a raq's internals. This allows me
to wrap other great (or is it missing?) software into packages for the
raq. So if you're interrested, give it a swing. You'll find the package on
ftp.sfarc.net/pub/webalizer/. Please take a sec or two to read the README
first though.
