RE: [cobalt-users] Problems with Uploading webpages

Here's what I did...

In my case I wanted the default home directory to be a sub-directory in an
alternate web. ie. /home/sites/site7/web/username vs
/home/sites/site7/users/username

I created and chowned the /home/sites/site7/web/username directory the same
as the user directory then edited the /etc/passwd file. FTP works and I
can't get to the /home/sites/site7/web/ folder within the FTP client.

The only difference that I can see from my senario and yours is the
sub-directory in the web and chowning the folder to the usernames
permissions.

Hope this helps.

Kevin

It looks like the default is to allow the user to view two directories below
what the passwd default path is set to. See above. Does anyone know how to
change the default number of directories to be viewed from two, like above,
to one? I don't want the users to be able to view/manipulate other sites.
