The command is "su" it could be confusing to use the capital letters, the
command is not "SU"
when issue the su , you will get a response of

Password: "enter your admin password here"


I'd like to add that "su" means "switch user" when used with another name. (e.g. "su john", means switch to user "john")

When used by itself, it normally means "super user". (e.g. just typing "su" and then hitting return.)
