Telnet into the router as admin and them issue the command SU and enter the
password (same as admin).  You are now root.

I just installed the Cobalt RaQ3 and, man that thing rocks!!!
>From start to finish it only took about an hour to setup.

Now,  all I want to do is figure out the root passwd.  I have tried using
the same passwd as admin, with no luck.  Can someone please help me?
