RE: [cobalt-users] Problems with Uploading webpages

I've done this by replacing the users home directory (rename it) with a
symlink of the same name to the desired ftp access point.

Specifically for the complaint you mention:

(from users directory)
1.) mv <user dir> <user dir>_orig
2.) ln --symbolic ../web/ <user dir>

you could just remove the original user home directory (step 1 is just
cautionary).

Subject: [cobalt-users] Problems with Uploading webpages

Guys,

I am constantly being told "Hey, I uploaded my webpages, but I can't see
the changes..."

My clients are ftping and by default, are taken into their own home
directory ie /users/joebloggs

Is there anyway of forcing their logon so that they login to /web/
directory?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

George
