They day i have to reboot linux because applications are sloppy is the day
i go buy a mac ;0

No, the only reason you should ever need to reboot is to upgrade the
operating system, or because you somehow managed to crash it (yea, it do
crash from time to time ;)

Don't be misled by the 'free memory' info , figuring out exactly what
memory is being used for and why, can be complicated, and often looks like
it's leaking away, but it's generally just being shuffeled around to make
better use of it...
