technically, that is the IP/subnet mask  the 24 is the default subnet mask which refers to a class C. Which means that IP is setup to NOT be subnetted which I understand is not a good thing. Depending on the number of IPs you have allotted, you should prolly have your subnet mask properly noted. Go to www.webopedia.com and look up subnets.
