Re: [cobalt-users] File transfer

Just to add a bit for those that might want to do the same on a Qube2.

I agree - excellent product and supports rz and sz directly via ssh.

On the Qube2, I did not have unzip (although later I found I had funzip).
However, unzip-5.4.mips.rpm is available at

 ftp://ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/contrib/binaries/

After a rpm -i of the rpm, one can then do an unzip of the rzsx.zip file.

After doing a make, one has to select which make to use. On the Qube2, I used

make posix

where posix is in lower case.

On the Qube2, I put them in /usr/bin. I also copied the doc files to a folder
that I made at /usr/doc/rzsz-3.54.

After that, I deleted everything else left in my working directory.

Start SecureCRT

sz filename to download from the Qube2

or

Start a Zmodem transfer in the File Transfer tab to do an upload which will
automagically start rz and transfer the file.

I have tested uploading and downloading the same file and the transfer occurs
with no problems. With SecureCRT, the transfer occurs over a ssh protected
connection.
