You may try once more from scratch for one site as a trial!

No, the directory /etc/httpd/ssl/ 
should contain only the site numbers (e.g. site10) 
for which you have activated the ssl.

No additional directives needed. The perl script loads the ssl directives 
according to contents of /etc/httpd/ssl/ when you start the Apache.

You don't need to have a ssl activated for main site.
