What you are referring to above would be a Red Hat Linux version #.
Although Cobalt products may be built upon a RHL base, those version numbers
usually won't do you any good since Cobalt customizes quite a bit of the
underlying OS.
I believe the Qube and Raq <= 2 are based upon RHL 5, and I *think* the Raq
>= 3 are based upon RHL 6.
If you want to know the kernel version (a more important *version* number of
your system), type 'uname -a' (or uname -r if you only want the kernel
version) from within a shell on your box. One of our original RHL 6.1 boxes
has a kernel version of 2.2.12-20 for your reference.
