I haven't following the thread to know what you did before, but if you added records
to virtusertable and then added users through the GUI (I believe adding a site would
probably also do it), Cobalt's scripts would have automatically converted the file to
db format (makemap hash /etc/virtusertable < /etc/virtusertable).
