If you post with a subject (I would suggest MySQL/DBI problem) and in plain
ASCII text you will get a better response.

Strictly speaking this isn't the best forum for this question.  The folks
that maintain DBI, mysql+mysql modules, or a PERL database list may produce
better results.

Have you installed both the DBI CPAN module as well as the msql+mysql one?
